Any grocery bag will do.

Using the bag handles, tie a loose knot with two fingers of room between your kid’s neck and the bag.
.
It’s amazing how perfectly spaced the dimensions of the handles are to work as a bib!

Tuck the bag down the front and let your kid have at it!

When done, untie and throw away immediately.
We probably don’t have to mention it, but you know the dangers of letting kids play with plastic bags.
Throw a few in the car and in you diaper bag for use on-the-go!
Cathy Horn recently wrote an article about the lack of technological advancement in fashion. We, of course, couldn’t agree more (present company excepted). One of the reasons you can’t find KOYONO products in retail establishments or in fashion outlets is that we recognized that the business models around fashion and clothing retailing were rooted in old paradigms. Our stuff isn’t for everyone. The value of our offerings are both in how they look and how they work. Our customers like having a one to one relationship with our design team. We see and react to the repsonse from our customers in real time. Our designs are timeless, yet constantly being revised to address new understandings of our customers or to incorporate new materials and functionality.
We got an order from Mongolia for Rainbow® Sandals from an obviously huge individual. Anyone want to take a guess at what size this pair is?

:: Last minute gifts for both the tropical and arctic environs. (Delivery by 12/24)
This is our last newsletter of 2005 and probably your last chance to give a gift that balances style, performance, and utility.
::Rainbow Sandals: The year-round flip-flop ($45)
Although we fully appreciate the irony of adding Rainbow Sandals to our catalog in the middle of December, we have good reason. We are about to enter the Trade Show season, during which we spend lots of time traveling between our home climates and places like Las Vegas and San Francisco. Those climates include bitter cold, hotel room, convention center, hotel bar, and hotel pool…not necessarily in that order.
Everyone at KOYONO has been wearing Rainbows for years. During the summer they are as easy as flip-flops but classy enough to wear almost anywhere. During the winter we keep them by the door and in our suitcase – the perfect travel alternative for walking about the hotel and a great alternative to paddling around the cold floor in your socks.

::BlackCoat Classic: Design, Style, Materials, and Pocketing for Geniuses and Innovators ($199):
The BlackCoat Classic includes our most refined approach to outerwear pocketing. The shape, placement, and orientation of each pocket has been chosen to make life-on-the-go stylish, easy and fun.
You can find a coat with more pockets, but no other coat balances materials, design, and cognitive process (Rule of 7) to give you a coat you can wear through 3 seasons and that neutralizes so many inhibitors to be being effective while travelling through airports or through local weather.
Many of you know the difficulties we have had getting our BlackCoat outerwear made this year. The engagement in Iraq has required the US military to continue buying protective clothing (think Kevlar) tying up what little US manufacturing capacity is left that can work with the advanced materials that go into all BlackCoat outerwear. We are 4 months behind schedule, but we now have our Fall 2005 outerwear lines in stock. This includes upgrades to the cut, styling, and materials of both the BlackCoat Classic and the BlackCoat AirGo. We are so happy to have our inventory show up that we have created a celebratory price, just for you, just for a couple days.

We’ve put together some of our favorite photos of our models, including Jed Hildebrand from Survivor, wearing BlackCoat outerwear and created a page to let you browse through them. People tell us all the time that it is difficult to make a decision about our outerwear on-line. We try to make it easy to return anything, but that isn’t enough for a lot of people. Hopefully these photos will make it easier to fall in love with the coats and excited about making the purchase.
See Jed Hildebrand and friends wearing BlackCoat outerwear.

BlackCoat-T: It’s innovative, high-quality, and eye-catching. The BlackCoat-T is still generating buzz in the blogosphere as new converts seem to discover it everyday. If you, or someone you love, carry gadgets and need a safe and convenient place to keep them, the BlackCoat-T is for you.
|
Slimmy: The Slimmest Wallet on Earth continues to satisfy three ways: Minimalistic Style, front-pocket safety, and back-saving butte-brick-removal. As long as you aren’t buying for a George Costanza protege, this is the gift for everyone.
BlackCoat-T LS: Baby it’s cold outside and the BlackCoat-T LS long-sleeve version of the BC-T is just the ticket for having a lush layer of high-quality interlock cotton under that Ben Sherman or Joseph Abboud number you want to wear to the Holiday Party.
Sling Pack: That "Don’t Get In My Way" look sported by bike messengers everywhere is popular with our Geniuses, Artists & Innovators. With refined form, durable materials, and a full set of features (we love the iPod© pocket) this bag has been selling fast.
|
|
Transtrap: Most of our customers live within a few hundred yards of a subway and none of them want to endure a case of the flu. Wash your hands and NEVER touch that bar on the bus or subway. The Transtrap keeps you standing and a safe distance from the infectious soup that accumulates on public transportation.
