::Classy wraps for you and your iPod: Accessorize in style
It seems to us like it wasn’t that long ago that the iPod was a pretty stylish accessory all on it’s own. With about 80 bajillion of them around, however, it isn’t really a strong fashion statement to carry the familiar device with tell-tale white headphones. The appearance- and device-safety-minded genius, artist or innovator now must seek out other subtle ways to make a statement. We have collected our three favorite iPod cases for your consideration. Like all KOYONO goods, these cases combine beautiful design with clever functionality and are appropriate for work or play.
We don’t naturally appreciate belt clips, but the clips on these cases bring a few extra tricks that make them worthy of a new category.

Our newest manufacturing partner is the high-end leather goods craftspeople at Orbino. We have added cases for both the iPod (video versions) and the iPod nano (original and remastered) made with some of the finest leather on the planet and carefully crafted by some of the world’s finest artisans, into exquisite pieces that are as much a pleasure to touch as see. They also include an ingenious clip/stand combination that we are absolutely charmed by. At $59.99 and $89.99 these are luxuries that anyone can afford (4 colors of each). |
We have also added a new item from our friends at ACME Made, the iPod nano Clip. The perforated leather case (in go-with-everything black) harkens to some of Apple’s design template - simple yet distinctive.
Fall is settling in for most of us. Crisp mornings and chilly nights give us the chance to add a layer. All KOYONO outerwear includes our signature balance of style, performance and utility. If you live beyond the 35th parallel (say, north of the Mason-Dixon Line or south of The Tropic of Capricorn)…or travel to cold places occasionally, you can’t do better than our BlackCoat Classic. Designed by our founders for world travel, it looks great over a wide range of temperatures, and features pockets for all your travel and commuting essentials, a 3-in-1 overcoat and vest combination and the synergy of high-performance materials and construction. For less dramatic weather, we have the BlackCoat Minimal, light and effective protection against weather and a dreary appearance.
Made with the same materials and craft as our other offerings, this garment features a length and cut targeted at our client base that rarely wear suit coats and prefer clothes that enhance sex appeal. The trimmer fit of this overcoat give it a more tailored feel. The length of this coat covers just enough to keep you dry while giving you a taller appearance. For more on this, Hapi coats, and other topics check out our blog, theblackcoat.com
::Outerwear featured on KOYONO.com this month:
BlackCoat Minimal: These new coats have just been received and are shipping to customers. Minimal comes in Graphite and Latte. ($129)
BlackCoat Classic: Our premiere coat, based on the requirements of people on-the-go, includes a breathable, waterproof shell and one of 3 colored vests. ($275)
BlackCoat Sport: This new cut adds a unique form to uncompromising specs and intergrated iPod controls to create an advanced functionality jacket with sex appeal. ($299)
We have just added the Cambino iPod video case to our line-up. Select from four stunningly beautiful colors, hand-crafted in Italy by Orbino.
We’ve been quite taken with the fine carrying implements from ACME MADE for some time now. As part of our Accessorize for Fall campaign, we are adding the charming Acme Made nano Clip. We are not fond of belt clips, per se, but everyone here at KOYONO immediately found value in having a universal method to protect teh face of our nanos while also keeping it from sliding about or getting dropped in a pocket with keys, etc. We’ll be making an official announcement about this product later this week.
I never thought a little tool like Tiny URL could become so much a part of my daily workflow. If you often send links in e-mails and the like, Tiny URL is for you. They never get truncated because they are so small, they save space allowing for a title before the link, and Tiny URLs make for an overall more clean and neat presentation. Here are some examples.
Not so tiny:

Plus, if you ever give URLs over the phone, this makes it all the more easy. Last but not least, it’s great sending links (i.e. directions) to mobile devices. Give Tiny URL a try.

PS - I might not send confidential or private links through Tiny URL. Just an FYI.
