This is a great little pen. The Zebra F 301 Compact pen is less than 4″ with the pen closed, converting into a full size pen when opened. I pretty much stopped carrying pen’s two years ago simply because I kept losing them. I have had this pen for two weeks now and it’s never been misplaced or missing. This is also due in part because it conveniently clips horizontally along the bottom of my Slimmy and is exactly the same length. It’s just one more thing that I do not have to involve my psyche. Lastly, the pen actually writes pretty darn well
